ESB SEURAMATKA - CLUB TRIP TO TALLINN 10.-11.5.2025

Join ESB’s Tournament Trip to Tallinn to Compete in the Junior Noorte GP-4 or the Kevadsuled Tournament!


We’ve participated in junior tournaments in Estonia for several years now, and the trips have always been a lot of fun. In between matches, we’ve enjoyed spending time with teammates, sharing great stories, eating delicious food, and exploring the sights of Tallinn.This year, the junior tournament will be held at the beautiful Lenne Badminton Center.


Parents of junior players and other adult players are also welcome to take part in the tournaments.The Spartan Kevadsuled tournament will be held at the Sparta Sport Center in Tallinn at the same time. This tournament is a one-day event.

If you don't have a doubles partner but still want to play, please mark “I will register as an open player.”


! If you haven’t played in tournaments before or are still a beginner, we recommend choosing the B level in your age category, e.g., "Boys’ Singles U13B".

! All B-category matches (all disciplines) will be played on Saturday, May 10

! Semifinals and finals of A-categories (all disciplines) will be played on Sunday, May 11


AGE GROUPS:

  • U11 – born 01.01.2015 or later

  • U13 – born 01.01.2013 to 31.12.2014

  • U15 – born 01.01.2011 to 31.12.2012

  • U17 – born 01.01.2009 to 31.12.2010

  • U19 – born 01.01.2007 to 31.12.2008


ENTRY FEES (paid in cash at the venue):

Noorte GP-4:

  • MS, WS = €24 / player

  • MD, WD, XD = €16 / player

ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS:

Each group is responsible for booking their own accommodation based on their travel plans and needs. Coaches will stay at the hotel: __________________

TRAVEL BOOKINGS:

Each group is also responsible for booking their own travel tickets according to their plans and schedule. It’s often a good idea to travel to Tallinn already on Friday and return on Sunday.

We will organize a training session at the Lenne tournament venue on Friday between approx. 17:00–20:00 (exact time to be confirmed).


It is also possible to travel on Saturday morning (e.g., ferry 07:30–09:30), but this must be confirmed with the tournament organizers well in advance, and they must be informed before making the match schedule.Note: Traffic near the port in Tallinn can cause delays. Players must be at the venue at least 30 minutes before their first match.

TRANSPORTATION / LOCAL TRAVEL:

Transportation will be arranged by taxi or private car. Lenne Badminton Center is about 10 km from the harbor. Distance between the junior and adult tournament venues is about 5 km.

TRAVELING WITHOUT A GUARDIAN?

It is possible to attend the tournament without your own guardian, but this must be agreed in advance and all travel documents must be in order.Every underage junior must travel with a group that includes a responsible adult group leader. In past trips, groups with one parent and a few children have worked very well.

ESB coaches will join the trip, help with practical matters, lead the Friday practice session at the tournament venue, and coach players during matches.

We will create a WhatsApp group for those interested in the trip, where we can share info and discuss things like accommodation and travel plans. Sami will be the main contact person. If you want to join the group, message Sami (0400-493459).

KEVADSULED – NATIONAL TOURNAMENT:

Open badminton tournament.

A one-day tournament on Saturday, May 10.

Only the first 100 players will be accepted in order of registration.

Categories: Men’s/Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles Levels: Meistriliiga, Esiliiga, 2nd League, 3rd League, 4th League Entry fee: €25 / player

Registration deadline: April 25, 2025 (Use the subject: “KEVADSULED”)

! Please remember that according to the rules, you can only participate in one of the tournaments – either Noorte GP or Kevadsuled.
